We took MTR to Sheung Wan and look for the traditional kind of Dim Sum, Lin Heung Lau. It was rather late, about 12 pm, the place was so crowded that we hardly find a seat, not to mention table for two. Finally we found a table initially sat by their waiters during lunch. We had the table and later were squeezed by another 2 groups of customers to the corner. It was a norm in Hong Kong that a table was seated by few groups and extra number of people.According to the lady sat beside me, Lin Heung Lau is an old Dim Sum restaurant that they still have the dim sum cart going around serving food. But looking at their customers flow, we have to look for the cart and grab whatever dim sum served. The food was fabulous besides the dessert. I managed to grab Beef meat ball, Cotton Chicken, Cabbage Wrap, Ma Tau Kou, pork ribs (pai kuat), pork intestine (brisket & kidney) and fried cashew nut
It was rather full when we left Lin Heung Lau. even we were full, we still look for this Luk Yu Tea House for their Char Siu Pau. It was just a few blocks from Lin Heung Lau and their food was rather expensive. 2 char siu pau cost us HKD 30. We ate it at night and it tasted average. I was jotting down some notes and expenses while waiting for the char siu pau, one of their captains was curious and peep through my notes. Luckily he could not find I wrote anything indecent, lol, at least against their restaurant.
From Luk Yee, we walked through these blocks looking for the Mid Level Escalator recommended to visit by most tourist guide. We saw the Old police station, SoHo and Lan Kwai Fong and found the escalator. It linked up from the Central to Half Peak. While returning to Central, I was so thirsty and looked for iced cold coffee. Coincidently I saw this stall, Lan Fong Yuen claimed to be famous and has special made coffee, so I decided to give it a try but ended up nothing special.
The time was still early, hence we wondering at IFC mall nearby. The mall has 2 wings, new and old but had nothing much to shop, mostly sells middle to high range fashion. I was interviewed by a staff there conducting surveys and I gave them rate 2 out of 5, so bad of me. We were then directed by the staff and some passerby to the Tram station to Peak but seemed that we were lost until a bus conductor advised us to travel by their Double Decker and returned by Tram. Since what he said sound reasonable, we hopped up bus 15C to the peak. To those who had car sick problem like me, it is not a wise move to travel to the peak by bus. I got nauseated and need some time to recover after I reached the Peak.

We had McDonalds as most of the foods at the Peak were rather expensive. I chose Grill Chicken Burger while hubby ate Big Mac. Quite hard to find a place to sit and some inconsiderate customers intended to own up the whole restaurant.
We thought of visiting the spot where we can see the night view of the Peak toward the Hong Kong so we asked a traffic officer on duty. She advised us to walk through the trail instead of climbing up to the peak which will be quite tiring. So we followed her suggestion and walked through the trail. After 20 minutes of walk, we started to worry as people getting lesser and we can’t even see any Harbour view. All we saw were just trees and trees. When we saw a family passed by, we asked them the distance we still gotta walk and they mentioned that we just finished up 600 meters and the whole trail is about 3 km. It will take us another 1 hr of walk!!!!! We were rather panicked but it’s not worth to return at that point of time so we continue our walk till the end. It was quite rewarding that we finally found the spot and enjoyed the cool breeze. The sky getting darker even it was just 6.30 pm. About 7 pm, the moon is up and coincidently it’s Mid Autumn. Some family took their kids with lantern walked passed as well. When we finally got out the trail its almost 7.30 pm. We took a few minutes rest and headed to the Tram. It took us about 30 mins of queuing up.
By the time we got down from the Tram, we found that it would be nearer if we walked to Admiral MTR station compared to Central. Some families were celebrating Mid Autumn Festival at the park on the way to the station. Hubby was so hungry and tired but he still insisted we went back to Kung Wo, the 100 years historical café we used to eat during the first night in Hong Kong. I ordered black soy bean for drinks and spinach noodle with pork rib, abalone slice & egg wheat dumpling while hubby had mango soybean, sesame noodle with pork ribs, pork chop & dumpling. My noodle was too soft, still prefer their sesame noodle.
I feel a lot better after food. It’s about 5 pm when we were done with McD, so we proceed to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. As usual, people queuing up to take photos and some never even bother how long the queue is and jumped in front. Besides of Jackie Chan’s wax statue, we may shoot all the celebrities’ statues with our own camera. Some famous celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Brat Pitt & Nicole Kidman were so hot that I do not even have chances to get nearby. But at least I found a few celebrities that I really would want to take photos with, such as my favourite Einstein, Kelly Chan and Twins. Not really a fan of Twins but Charlene do look cute sometimes.....

We travelled back to Mongkok by MTR and stopped by Hui Lau San again. I ordered Mango Mochi this time while hubby had his mix fruit glutinous rice ball. So so for hubby’s choice but the Mango Mochi was sooooo nice. I intended to buy and bring back to hotel but was sold out for that day. Not my luck. So I ended up buying some dessert (put chai ko) from next door. Moral of the story: “If things does not meant for you, never pick the second option”, the dessert turned out sucks.
