Phnom Penh- Day 2 part 1

We woke up about 8 am and had breakfast at my sis apartment. I brought some pita bread from Malaysia and sis prepared some instant cup noodle.

There was another driver took us round the town today. Our first stop is the Palace. By the time
we reach the palace was already 10.30 am.

There's a rule that one must wear decent clothes (meaning no short pants or sleeveless blouse) when visiting the palce. Can't remember how much the ticket was... I think about RM 20, if not mistaken.

We were not informed but we notice that there were some tourist hiured English speaking guide while touring the palace. We did evasdrop and heard some interesting stories about different colour of flags resemblance of different culture.... Yvonne decided to check for a tour guide but unfortunately we were rushed out of the palace as they said the king is arriving. Hmm.... we were quite pissed of at that time but later we learned that the Palace onlyh open to public for a few hrs in the morning only. Must checked properly next time....

The band getting ready for the arrival of King

After being shoo-ed out, we just kept ourselves busy visiting & photo shooting at the temple next door

Not to be rude, but don't Cambodia have lightning?

Waaaa... pretty girl....

Note: Some of the photo's sequence had been mixed due to lazy Bee too lazy to rearrange the photos from hubby's & Yen's camera.

Did u notice any resemblance? kakakakak

The part of this temple I enjoyed the most was this garden. I always enjoy looking at those colourful flowers.. but unfortunately, sis already done with her shopping and keep calling me to be fast.....

Lily? Lotus? Lily....

Funny cactus

See what I mean.... so nice .....

Look like Mini-Malaysia....

Thia is fake....

We actually saw this wooden house, possibly a staff hostel... well.. not entirely sure but I guess some one must be staying there as we heard some sound from this house... but we saw quite a number of the Khmer musical intruments... since no one around and we do not dare to play around, we jsut took a few photos and keep going, since my sis already waiting for quite some time.....
