Destination: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Date: Dec 24, 2009
Time: 3.15 pm
Target: Yvonne, Yen, Hubby and Me!!!!
We were flying off to Phnom Penh for Christmas. Sis already took an early flight to meet her hubby there. We had some McD & Starbucks before boarding and already swear we will spend and enjoy as much as we can....ehheheh
I can't remember why I looked so gloomy..... heheh
Upon landing, a small drama happened. Yvonne claimed she felt sick and need to vomit. Once the flight touched ground, she took her hand carry and rushed to washroom. We waited for her at the passage way for almost 20 mins and did not see her coming out. We asked an air crew to check for us but he informed us no more passanger in the flight.
After few phone calls made and my sister already keep messaging me, we finally walked to the imigration counter to check if Yvonne's at the toilet nearby. WE FOUND HER!!!!! She sat at a nearby bench and waited for us... plus she did not bring her personal mobile... no wonder we can't get her......

There she is......

Foo (my brot in law) send his driver to pick us up. Sis had been waiting for sometime but luckily she still kept her temper.. phew......

Then, we were introduced to the fierce traffic in Phnom Penh town. It was something like Jakarta just less cars but more motorcycle.

Here goes the KFC adv board.... even though KFC is an international food chain but still we felt at home once we saw its advertisement.... at least something we familiar of.

On the way back to hotel, we passed thru streets selling fruits and lots of durians. The driver claimed that the durian tasted good but my brot in law said Malaysian won't appreciate as we have better.

We reached our hotel : City Villa (service apartment located at Monivong Blvd, Beng Keng Kong 1, Camcar Mon District) and started to unpack. My hubby and I chose the room with bathroom attached while Yvonne and Yen shared another.

Yen took some photos outside our apartment while waiting for Foo returning from work.

We stopped by 7-11 to get some junk food and alcohols for supper but actually none of us drink that night......
There we had dinner at this Chinese restaurant. The foods were fab, especially the sprout!

Our apartment... not that expensive, about USD 69/ night. Besides of 2 rooms, 2 toilet, living room, they provide kithen (for simple cooking, microwave) and water dispenser.
