Phnom Penh- Day 2 part 2

After we left The Palace, we went to the cultural Musuem. My friends recommended me to visit the national Musuem instead but people as faint hearted as me do not have the guts to witness with my own eyes.....

We paid a English speaking tour guide to explain the history of Buddism and Hinduism in Cambodia. Too concentrate on her talk that we forgot to snap some photos.....

We had a quick lunch with my brot in law after the musuem visit. We had some local and fusion food. We tried a dish called 'Amok' and it tasted similar to our local 'otak-otak'. Yummy

We then drop by a nearby temple while sis went back to apartment since she is not interested in cultural stuff. Anyhow, the temple wasn't that interesting.

About 6 pm, we picked up my sis from apartment and went to the Riverside (so called Phnom Penh Bangsar by my colleague). I've done some internet research that there is a row of shop selling Happy Pizza and it is a must try item..... and we chose this Happy Herb Pizza as the rule of thumb, go for the more customer's restaurant....

They serves varities of pizza and baguette, with different categories. You can asked for normal pizza, happy pizza and extra happy pizza. Our driver remind us to ask for extra happy.... we don't really understand at first.
We ordered a happy pizza and another pizza sounds like our hawaian chicken. Then the waiter asked if we want the haiwaian pizza to be happy as well. Then we started to feel something admist. Then we question what is the difference between normal and happy. What do they put in to make it happy.... to our surprise, he answer "MARIJUANA!!!!!!" whoa......
We shouted unisonly we just want normal pizza, we don't want to be so happy afterall.......
But, their pizza and baguette were tasty. We even took down their phone number and ordered supper on that night.

Cheezzzeeey bagguette....

The Riverside street.... lots of foreigners.....

Soon my brot in law came and took us to a real dinner.....

At a rather classy Cambodia restaurant...

Yvonne look so tired......

We ordered Amok again...... so nice but the portion tooooooo smallll

I don't understand why can't I get the photo rotated.....

Green curry... so so only. Yes, if you notice, Cambodia and Thai food do have lots of similarity as this two neighbouring country just less than 3 hrs apart by bus.

We then retired to our aparment and ordered not so happy pizza
